peaceful residential neighbourhood beside the Canal de Midi. Five minutes walk to the magical historical city of Carcassonne with its weekly markets and vast array of cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and theatres. The majestic castle is also in walking distance not to mention the many activities in the surrounding area. Close to the beach, mountains and Spain - there is something for everybody.

This apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floor, accessed via a spiral internal stairwell. Secure with locking external door to the street and ´buzz´ for entry. On street parking in adjacent streets, large public car park at the top of the road. (pay Mon-Fri 9am-6pm/Sat 9am-12), or FREE PARK within easy reach (5 mins.) Easy walk from railway station and navette airport shuttle bus put down.
A very cosy and very warm apartment benefits from all day sun, especially winter sun. Bed linen and towels provided.
Surroundings
Take a relaxing walk by the Canal Du Midi, visit the wine routes of the Minervois and Corbieres. Explore the awe inspiring Medieval Cité (A Unesco World Heritage Site) famous for its Festivals throughout July and August - don´t miss the amazing firework display on Bastille Day (July 14th).
The beaches of the Mediterranean, Ski slopes of the Pyrenees and the Spanish border are easy drives on the traffic free autoroutes of Sud de la France.
The City Centre is a 5 minute bus or taxi ride from the airport and low cost daily flights from Stansted, Dublin, and Charleroi make getting there for a short or long break very affordable.
Car hire is available at the airport or city centre.
