Big, 3-bedroomed, traditonally French stone village house in centre of Cesseras. Because it is situated in a dead end street it is very quiet here. The house has a courtyard shaded by a tree to spend your summer evenings - there is also a summer kitchen (barbecue).
There are 3 bedrooms, all with double beds but in the master bedroom there is an extra bed (single) and a TV. Bathroom with tub and shower, separate toilet. In one of the bedrooms is a wash basin (salle d´eau).
In the living room is a TV with video and Hifi.
The kitchen has a gas cooker, oven, fridge, micro wave, dish washer en freezer.
There is a small shop in the village (where you can order your bread), as well as a bar and a post office.
In Olonzac, only 6 km away, you will find more shops, a supermarket, restaurants, bars, a bank and each Tuesday there is a market.
10 minutes by car (or half an hour by bike) you will find the Lac de Jouarres where you can swim (with beach and survey for children).
It will take you about half an hour to drive to the Mediterranean beaches (or to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Beziers).
Worthwile seeing is Minerve, an old fortress, with its ´natural bridge´ (in winter a river squeezes itself between the rocks, in summer you can walk through it).
There is the Olive Mill in Bize, the Mediterranean gardens of Roquebrun, there are caves, the Cathar-ruins in the Corbières, the Mediterranean beaches (abt. 40 km) and also, on only 6 km distance, you will find the beautiful Lac de Jouarres, free and with supervision. You can hire bikes in a village somewhat north of Cesseras (see: Minervois Biking ) and there are several places where you can do canoeing .
