Village house in Villelongue with beautiful view
Villelongue is a lovely village with a very special atmosphere, where you will easily feel at home.
The friendly inhabitants (about 300) mainly make their living with vineculture. For example the ´blanquette´ is a main product of this region and is to be compared with champagne.
The local café, which is open on 2 days during the weekends, is a meeting place for both the villagers and the tourists and often a spontaneous musical happening is taking place.
The baker brings your bread every day to your front door, the supermarkets are on 12km distance, in Limoux.
In summer every fortnight there is a Sunday market with live-music.
On the sunny southwest edge of the village you will find this cosy cottage
where we will welcome you with a glass of wine as a good start for an unforgettable vacation.
Description: Ground floor: big living-/dining room with fitted kitchen from where 2 double doors lead
onto the large terrace. Just a few steps down the stairs is the garden.
First floor: A spacious bedroom (2 double beds 120 x 200), bathroom and WC. Stairs lead to a mezzanine,
where there is an extra sleeping place for 1 person.
