Senior living project
In a beautiful spot in the sunny hills around Carcassonne we would like to create a centre (like a village), consisting of several houses.Here you can spend the declining years of your life in comfort and security, together with like-minded people, of various nationalities.
According to the principle:
A near neighbour is better than a distant cousin, the residents should help and support each other, and enjoy together the beautiful surroundings: a bungalow park near a village with shops and all other provisions.
There will be a main building (in which we could create some apartments too) where the medical and paramedical facilities and other services will be located, so that you will not be entirely dependent on each other and yet will be able to stay independent as long as possible.
There will be a heated pool and a keep fit-room for anybody who wants to stay in good form, a reading-room is planned, with a large offer of books and magazines and if one does not want to cook, there will be a restaurant. Anybody who likes to, can give a hand in the community garden and contribute to the supply of fresh food, or be helpful with little jobs in the workshop.
